Junior-level design podcast from a junior-level perspective.
Another podcast?
I love podcasts, design ones especially. But as much as I found inspiration from the amazing designers that guest starred in the episodes, there was a lack of reassurance that I wasn't alone in my process.
So I set out to start my own podcast to share my insights—as well as others—to encourage and motivate designers who are new to the industry.
It was definitely intimidating to think about the feedback we'd be getting. Would anyone really find value in something like this? What exactly could new designers contribute—in the already endless list of design resources—that people haven't heard before?
Instead of letting the anxiety get in the way, we went with it. Working through Bumpers, we were able to get episodes out with solid audio quality. And, the resounding feedback from the design community was so motivating.
Honestly, didn't think we'd even exceed 50 listens..
We worked to discuss common roadblocks new designers—and old alike—face in their work. Covering topics from the interview process to mentorships, we were able to invite a few fellow designers on the show to hear about their experiences.
